By Onoufrios Dovletis
Licensed Tourist Guide

Unlock the divine secrets and epic tales of ancient Greece on an immersive journey through the stunning masterpieces of the Acropolis, its Museum and the Agora.
During this tour, we’ll try to make some sense out of the ancient Greek religion and see how the Twelve Gods and Greek mythology came to be the most influential in the world!

Program

Step
01

Acropolis

Greece's most famous hill hosted the Parthenon temple as well as the most signigicant battle in the life of Athena, the goddess who overshadowed other male gods, including Poseidon and Ares, who was war-shipped in the adjacent hill.

Step
02

Agora

The Agora (=market) was deeply intertwined with the gods and heroes. The Temple of Hephaestus is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in the world! It's a temple with connections to the birth and rape of Athena, the creation of Athens, as well as heroes Theseus and Hercules!

Step
03

Acropolis Museum

We will explore the spectacular birth of Athena emerging from the head of Zeus, the terrifying gaze of Medusa, and the clashes of legendary centaurs, fierce Amazons and the famous Trojan War. The ancient stones come alive, offering you a front-row seat to the legends that shaped human history.

Step
04

Coffee break

Even the gods needed to rest at some point; their drink was the nectar but ours could be a delicious cup of Greek coffee or Frappe!
